Amsterdam Entrepreneurship Cases launching event

Amsterdam Business Research Institute

Business and Organisation

As part of the IXAnext program to stimulate entrepreneurship, the city of Amsterdam has financed the development of ten entrepreneurship teaching cases featuring successful local start-ups and/or scale-ups. These cases will be developed by teachers who are affiliated with institutions for higher education in Amsterdam that offer entrepreneurship education.
Enno Masurel (VU) and Joris Ebbers (UvA) are happy to announce that the first two cases – Metrica Sports and Optics11 – are now completed.  They both consist of a written case and an introduction video.
The cases are available on the IXA website.
We therefore cordially invite you to attend our demonstration and information event on January 17th from 15.30 to 17.00 at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, room KA223, WN building, De Boelelaan 1085, 1081 HV Amsterdam (in the Amsterdam Venture Studios).
During this event, we will present the two cases about Metrica Sports and Optics11, pick your brain about how we can use these cases in our teaching programs, discuss which entrepreneurship topics could/should be covered in the other eight cases that still need to be developed, and inform you about the possibility to develop a teaching case of your own.
At the moment, there are already two more cases in the making: SRXP (by Enno Masurel / VU) and Tony Chocolonely (Maarten Hogenstijn en Nesrien Abu Ghazaleh / HvA).
We will close of the event with drinks.
We hope to see you then! Please register by sending an email to Els van Dam, She also answers your possible questions.
