About
Digital platforms and business models have received increased research attention in recent years, as they have significant implications for a wide range of industries and organizations. However, many questions remain about the strategies for create and capture value from such platforms. This panel symposium addresses brings together leading scholars from London City School, Bocconi University, University of Minnesota, and Harvard University Business School to discuss different dimensions of platform research.

This event is organized in collaboration between faculty from Management and Organization department and the KIN Center for Digital Innovation at VU Amsterdam and University College London. The session start with a paper Development Workshop for doctoral students focused on Digital innovation and followed by a research symposium open for all as outlined in the following table:

The purpose of the paper development workshop is to develop the publication strategies and research skills of doctoral students in the fields of digital innovation. To allow for interactive discussions and feedback between participants in a friendly environment, the number of participants will be limited to 20. Overall aim of this workshop is to provide doctoral students with the opportunity to submit a paper, on the subject related to digital innovation. The workshop will be moderated by the speakers of the symposium as well as the following scholars.
