This NWO grant will fund the PhD project of Sjoukje Goldman, titled " What makes SMEs successful in cross-border e-commerce? A multi-national study".

Teachers from primary, secondary, further professional, higher professional and special education can receive a NWO grant for a PhD study. The aim is to directly apply the knowledge and research experience acquired for the benefit of educational practice. A higher number of practicing teachers with a PhD also increases the quality of education and strengthens the connections between universities and schools. With the PhD grant, a replacement teacher can be appointed for a period of five years for 0.4 fte.
