|Based on the initial results of a few years of research on what moves Chinese to set up their own company, we have recently started to focus this ongoing research to social entrepreneurship. Moreover, contacts have been made with social entrepreneurship researchers in Australia, working in the same theoretical paradigm.
During the exploratory research for this new focus, I have discovered that quite a few social entrepreneurs in China are inspired by religion. I have decided to make this a separate sub-theme in this broad research project. This fits in with research projects started up by the Faculty of Theology of VU University.
